Don’t disagree, but one looks at this a little differently i.e. RW MSM and fringe players have learnt how to use digital to their advantage and of their clients RW parties, think tanks and related. It’s a monopoly of public information needed to inform citizens and voters, backgrounded by Orwellian demands for ‘freedom of speech’ and attacking the ‘other’.

Media Matters US showed directly how Tanton Network’s white nationalism and social Darwinism was influencing a cable news channel, which in turn nudges the RW MSM to or away from issues especially environment, immigration, population control, neo social-Darwinism etc.; replicated across the UK, Australia and parts of Europe.

Calling these creeps “tech bros” is letting them off too lightly. They make the shake-down merchants masquerading as journalists look positively genteel. This new breed are sociopathic brats, authoritarian narcissists, attempting to bend the social order to suit their financial interests and warped arrested adolescent philosophies. Musk may look like a beached albino whale with a 14 year old boy’s bum fluff for a beard and a Tijuana back-alley hair transplant, but he’s shaping up as probably the most dangerous person of the 21st Century; a high functioning sociopath, circus barker cum con-artist cloaking himself in a flimsy veneer of respectability afforded to “tech entrepreneurs” by the gormless, wealth worshiping investor class and business press. This is a man who – like his peers – would happily grind down every global democracy if it ensured the perpetuation of his power and wealth. They all need to be resisted and neutered before it is too late.
