Yes, guess Hockey still supports Trump? However, Rudd’s spend is still chicken feed compared to rent allowances &/or owning properties for personnel, and what goes on at some missions including the Austrade QUANGO.

In the noughties on the latter there was expansion, in one place extra budget of $250K+ and region, then shut down….as did the (host) Mission soon after (much of whose work or mission has been supplanted by digital)

Dont forget Rudd and Hockey are good mates, bros even. They used to do a double act on the ABC breakfast show in the early noughties. They even did Kokoda together. Now they have both been Ambassadors to the USA. You can bet they are working together on all sorts of things and that would include the 2 mentioned knees ups. They are both resident in the USA at the moment. Hockey is slurping at the AUKUS trough, Rudd will be in there somewhere.
