Correct. If an influencer is spruiking something you should assume they are being paid to do so and that, therefore, the information is most you aren’t getting an unbiased opinion about the things virtues.

Speaking in ignorance, I’d think that if an influencer spruiked any product brand then it should be looked at with skepticism. But, is spruiking products the whole idea of influencers??
